(MULTIPLE PHOTOS) - Found this highly reviewed tour on the web - so glad I did! Beryl Epstein gave me an AMAZING tour of the Chabad Hasidic Jewish neighbourhood in Brooklyn. He often has 6-10 people but today it was just me so I got the custom tour! (Poor Beryl...I asked SO many questions but he was good about it). Saw a Mikvah (ritual bathing pool for women), a wig store (for covering one's hair), and best of all, the yeshiva or school (shown in photo) where young men study the Talmud for 14 hrs per day, 7 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to see inside a community that is probably very different from your own. Seriously, I almost burst with happiness!
