Every few years, I go to the American Academy of Religion's conference which is essentially Disneyland for religious eggheads (i.e. scholars). When I walk into the book fair (TWO FLOORS OF BOOKS ON RELIGIONS!), I swear I can hear angels singing.
There's books on Scientology, on Mormonism, on anthropology, sociology, the Qur'an and women's movements in Egypt. There is Too Much Candy. Restraint is very difficult but necessary if you want to get everything on to the plane on the way home.
