I was bringing some high school students to the Ganesh temple today...only to find a celebration going on inside. Celebration does not capture it though. Photos were not permitted but it was a cacophony of sound and colour whose equivalent exists in no other tradition.
Outside however, Ganesh was chillin' by the river.
